Tampa Bay Handyman here again to tell you how to replace a bathroom faucet. Changing out a bathroom faucet is extremely easy and can be done by a beginner or somebody that has very little experience doing handyman stuff, one of the easiest things to do in the plumbing field. A couple of the tools that you will need are a pair of pliers, maybe a screwdriver, and a new faucet. Most faucets come with a installation guide bit I just want to cover this subject as to how I do the installation. Step one will be to turn off the water coming into the faucets supply lines, shut the valves fully then open the handles on the faucet to ensure the water is off.
Now undo the supply lines from the cut-off valves with either a pair of pliers or a wrench. Next you will have to loosen the locking nuts that are holding the faucet into place, some faucets have locking nuts you can turn with your hands and others have smaller ones that you might need a socket wrench to loosen them up.
Unhook the pop-up assembly rod, unhook the rod from the lift lever. You can either just put the New faucet in the same way you took the old one out, make sure all of your connections are tight and secure, turn the water on and then check for leaks, now enjoy your brand new bathroom faucet :)
